Other Procedures.

Some of the other orthodontic procedures available at Alizadeh & Schreiner Orthodontics include temporary anchorage devices (TADs) and lingual braces.

TADs are tiny "anchors" made of biocompatible titanium alloy that are used to assist in the orthodontic movement of teeth. TADs can close spaces between missing or extracted teeth, help avoid the need for jaw surgery and allow for more efficient orthodontic treatment. Dr. Alizadeh and Dr. Schreiner will only recommend TADs if no other treatment option will provide the results you need. 

Lingual braces are custom-fit braces that are placed behind the teeth and are hidden from view. Lingual braces work just like other types of braces; they just can't be seen when looking at the front of your teeth. They are a great choice if you want a straighter smile without the appearance of brackets or wires when you smile, talk or laugh.
